An Invitation to the Seldon Speakeasy: A Séance

Behind the red velvet curtains. An evening at Seldon.

On Tuesday October 27th, we’re opening up our SoMa speakeasy for those at the frontier of AI and behavioral simulation - operators, researchers, investors, professors and of course, friends and backers of Seldon.

Halloween comes once a year. Let’s make a proper night of it.

Get dressed up (we'll have a few outfit add-ons at the door if you're in business casual), and enjoy some good conversation over a cocktail from our in-house bartender and some charcuterie.

What to expect

🕯️ The speakeasy. Exposed brick, deep seats, red velvet, retro arcade games and a proper bar. Dressed for a Victorian séance, with dripping black candles and dark florals.

🔬 Inside Seldon. Meet the team working across research, engineering, design and defense. Hear what’s live and what’s coming next - from agents testing real products to modeling human decisions in national security.

🍸 Drinks and food worth staying for. Our favorite bartender mixing cocktails all evening, and an overflowing table of cheese and charcuterie.

🤝 A carefully chosen crowd. Familiar faces, new introductions and people we think should know one another. We’re keeping this one deliberately small.

👻 For the most daring. A Ouija board will be waiting. No promises about who - or what - answers.

🥀 Dress code: Gothic glamour. Velvet, lace, leather, black and oxblood. Go as dramatic as you fancy; all black is absolutely fine. We’ll have a few things at the door to help you glam up.
