What to look forward to
A one-day build event will give participants hands-on access and credits for Pine Computer, an AI cloud computer that can use a browser, files, and terminal to tackle real-world tasks. Teams will develop and demo projects with Pine team support, competing for $7,500 in cash prizes.
Inside the event
We built a computer for AI. This Saturday, we’re handing it over to you. Come spend a day with us making something you’ve wanted to exist. Pine Computer gives AI a whole cloud computer to work with: browser, files, terminal, the lot. It can move between websites and apps, run code, and get things done - no API needed. We’ll get you set up with access and credits, feed you all day, and help you build. There’s $7,500 in cash prizes and room for about 40 people. Saturday, October 17 · San Francisco 10 a.m.–8 p.m. · 1057 Steiner St Breakfast and coffee when doors open. Lunch, dinner, and snacks on us. Build through the afternoon. Submissions close at 6:40 p.m., with demos planned for 7 p.m. and prizes after. 1st: $5,000 · 2nd: $2,000 · 3rd: $500 Winners must be present to receive their prizes. Bring a laptop and charger. Teams of up to four; everyone should register. We’ll get you access and credits at check-in. If you can’t make the morning, arrive before 3 p.m. What can you do with Pine Computer? Send a little army of AI researchers down different rabbit holes and have them compare notes. Build an assistant that hunts across the internet for the exact secondhand synth, apartment, or obscure part you’re after. Have AI use your app, find a bug, try a fix, and show you the before and after. Give it the browser-and-spreadsheet routine you hate doing. See if you can retire that part of your day. See if an AI can figure out a browser game. Give a few agents different strategies and watch what happens. Or bring something we haven’t thought of. That’s what we’re most excited about. Come solo or bring friends. A half-formed idea is plenty. We’ll help people team up after kickoff, and the Pine team will be around all day to get into it with you. Come make something!
