The gathering

What to look forward to

An interactive, macOS-only workshop will use Claude Code and C++ to build and tune a functional synthesizer, covering coding harnesses, model selection, agentic coding practices, and sound theory. Attendees will experiment with real controls and finish with a jam session; an Akai LPD8 controller and headphones will be optional.

Inside the event

Claude Your Synth Build a functional synthesizer with Claude Code. Focus: Understand, configure, and tune your coding harness. Choose models based on the task, cost, and quality you need. Apply agentic coding best practices. Learn the basics of synthesis and sound theory. The workshop will be interactive, and we’ll make some noise. What to bring: A Mac - macOS only. Claude Code - the only coding harness we’ll use. Akai LPD8 MIDI controller - optional. Headphones - recommended, but optional. C++, not a funky TypeScript. Real knobs, real sound. No matcha latte, only black coffee. Go wild, have fun, and finish with a jam session.
