Double Diamond will bring together Runway co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer Alejandro Matamala Ortiz, Sandbar CEO Mina Fahmi, and Little Plains product lead Alex Leiphart to discuss designing and building with AI and emerging intelligence. The evening will feature conversations with leaders whose work spans creative AI tools, human-computer interfaces, and intelligence-native brand systems.

Double Diamond, NYC's favorite live design podcast and event series, is BACK with another night of conversations about designing and building at the frontier. Our October event brings Alejandro Matamala Ortiz, Mina Fahmi, and Alex Leiphart to the stage to share what they're building and how they think about designing with intelligence. The Lineup Alejandro Matamala Ortiz, Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Runway Alejandro co-founded Runway to build new creative tools for the age of AI, and he leads the company's work on what's next, including Solaris, its research into interfaces that adapt and build themselves around what you're trying to do. Before Runway, he explored AI and creativity as a research resident at NYU. Mina Fahmi, Co-founder and CEO at Sandbar Mina is building Stream, Sandbar's private voice ring for capturing thoughts, dictating quietly, and talking through your ideas. He previously developed human-computer interfaces at the MIT Media Lab and at CTRL-labs (acquired by Meta). Alex Leiphart, Partner and Head of Product at Little Plains Alex helps lead Little Plains, the New York brand and product studio, where he heads up product. He's pioneering an intelligence-native approach to brand systems, rethinking how brands get built and run when agents are part of the team from day one.
