What to look forward to
Fireworks and Profound will host an informal AI engineering meetup featuring open office hours, peer networking, and hands-on help with training, evaluations, agents, and deployment. AI engineers and tech leads will connect with the Fireworks team, founded by the creators of PyTorch, and can work through real projects or fine-tune and deploy a model.
Inside the event
Join Fireworks and Profound on the rooftop, October 13th during AI Engineer for networking and Open Office Hours with Fireworks. No slides. No pitch. Just direct time with the people building Fireworks and the people using it, on a rooftop, with a cold drink in your hand, and even better company. Bring your code, your questions about Fireworks, Profound, or AI in general, and your spiciest takes, let's hear them. You aren't walking into a talk or a workshop. It's a room full of AI engineers and tech leads who are shipping specialized intelligence plus the Fireworks and Profound team. Come with whatever's on your mind: A training run that isn't behaving and you want a second pair of eyes on A prompt, harness, or agent loop you're stuck optimizing Questions about SFT, RFT, Evals, LLM-as-a-judge, or deploying to live endpoints A hot take on open vs. closed, routing, evals, or where the whole field is heading "Is training even worth it for my use case?" — bring your use case and we'll dig in If you want to walk out having actually fine-tuned, evaluated, and deployed a model on Fireworks that night, we can do that too. Laptops open, we'll pair with you. Location will be shared after registration is accepted. About us: Fireworks is the platform for specialized intelligence, enabling companies such as Doximity, Revolut, and Shopify to train and serve models tailored to their own data, workflows, and use cases. Founded by the team behind PyTorch, and backed by AMD, Atreides, Benchmark Capital, Index Ventures, Lightspeed, NVIDIA, Sequoia Capital, and TCV, Fireworks provides hundreds of state-of-the-art open models in text, image, embedding, and multimodal formats globally.
