What to look forward to
Urvashi Mohnani of Red Hat will explore how AI is reshaping everyday Git and GitHub workflows, with practical insights into what’s changing for developers.
Inside the event
AI coding tools are changing more than how we write code. They can help developers understand unfamiliar repositories, generate commits and pull requests, resolve conflicts, investigate CI failures, review code, and increasingly perform development tasks autonomously. But as AI takes on more of the mechanics, understanding Git and GitHub becomes more important, not less.
In this talk, we'll explore how AI is changing everyday Git and GitHub workflows, where coding agents can genuinely make developers more productive, and where human judgment still matters. Through practical examples, students will learn how to use AI effectively while still understanding, reviewing, and taking ownership of the code they ship.
