What to look forward to
Grant Yun, whose distinctive visual practice draws on government planning documents and built-environment systems, will present *Sections*, a generative project that turns those influences into explorable, fictional 3D landscapes. Visitors will be able to shift perspectives and settings, observe simulated traffic, and shape their own environments.
Inside the event
Developed over the past year with Fellowship, Sections expands Grant Yun's distinctive visual language into fully three-dimensional, generative landscapes informed by government planning documents and the systems that shape our built environment. Rather than depicting existing places, Yun has created a generative system capable of imagining landscapes that have never existed, yet feel strangely familiar. Visitors will be able to navigate these fictional environments, exploring their streets, buildings, and infrastructure from different perspectives. They can choose between aerial and street-level views, daylight and nighttime, line drawings and fully rendered landscapes, or observe the movement of simulated traffic. Grant Yun will join us to experience the project firsthand and discover the many ways to explore, interact with, and shape your own Section. Beer and wine will be served throughout the evening.
