Inside the event
Lovable x Girls in VC Buildathon
Kill Your Ick: Build Night with Lovable x Girls in VC
You don’t need to be an engineer to build. You just need an idea and an afternoon.
Girls in VC at UC Berkeley, Lovable, and Corgi are hosting a 5-hour buildathon at Corgi for women in venture, startups, and tech. Bring an idea, a thesis, or just some curiosity, and leave with something you built and a new community behind you.
The theme: Kill Your Ick
Every team names an “ick,” one of the small, daily frustrations women are just expected to put up with, and builds the fix.
Think a bad OB-GYN booking flow, unsafe parking garages, product filters that won’t tell you if it has pockets, or dismissive customer service.
Whether you’ve shipped ten products or never opened an AI builder, this is a space to experiment, learn from each other, and meet women who are building and investing in what comes next.
What to expect
- 5 hours of hands-on building with Lovable. Free credits are provided.
- Build solo or team up with someone you meet that day
- Demos at the end: show what you made, however rough
- Prizes for the top builds
- No coding experience needed..
- Food, drinks, and goodies
Judges
- Joe Rosh, Developer at Perf
