Product Management in the Age of AI If AI can write the PRD, summarize customer feedback, research competitors, and build prototypes — what is the Product Manager’s job now? Join Pioneering Minds AI for an interactive workshop on how product management is changing in the age of AI, and what makes a great PM today. We’ll bring together both experienced “old-school” PMs and a new generation of AI-native PMs to compare how the role has evolved, which skills still matter, and what students should focus on if they want to work in product. What We’ll Discuss What great PMs looked like before AI Which traditional PM skills still matter Which parts of the job AI is already changing How PMs can use AI for research, prototyping, prioritization, and product discovery Whether PMs need to become more technical Why judgment, taste, communication, and problem selection may matter more than ever What companies may look for in the next generation of PMs We’ll also discuss a bigger question: When AI makes execution easier, does the PM’s real value shift from “managing the process” to deciding what should be built in the first place? No previous PM or technical experience is required. The session is designed primarily for students, aspiring PMs, and early-career professionals interested in product, startups, and AI. Hackathon Preview This workshop takes place the day before the Pioneering Minds AI Hackathon and will also serve as a warm-up for participants.
