What to look forward to
Merge and Modal will host a focused discussion on securing agent credentials: where to store and scope them, how to limit access to company tools, and how to investigate exposure. The session will bring together engineers, engineering leads, and founders building agents for real-world systems, backed by Merge’s AI connectivity platform and Modal’s cloud platform for AI workloads.
Inside the event
Merge and Modal are hosting an evening in New York for engineers building agents that need access to company tools.
Once an agent can act inside Slack, GitHub or Salesforce, it needs credentials. We'll dig into two questions every team building agents runs into.
- Where should an agent's credentials live?
- What do you check when one leaks?
Expect a focused discussion on storing and scoping credentials, limiting what an agent can reach, and tracing what happened after a credential is exposed. Then stay to talk with other people building in this space.
Who should come
Engineers, engineering leads and founders building agents that connect to real company systems.
