The gathering

What to look forward to

Mukesh Jain, Kaya AI CTO and former leader of Amazon Rufus’s generative AI shopping team, will discuss taking AI from prototype to trusted, measurable product with SF Chapter Lead Ankit Raheja, an AI product leader experienced in machine learning and data products. The fireside conversation will explore customer trust, AI agents, product impact, and lessons from building at Amazon, Walmart, and Kaya.

Inside the event

What does it take to turn an AI prototype into a product customers trust—and a business can measure?

Mukesh Jain led the generative AI shopping team that built Amazon Rufus, which Amazon credits with helping deliver nearly $12 billion in incremental annualized sales in 2025. Today, as CTO and Head of Kaya Labs at Kaya AI, he’s applying AI to procurement and supply chain in construction and infrastructure.

Join Mukesh and SF Chapter Lead Ankit Raheja for a fireside conversation about the decisions behind that work: moving from prototype to production, earning customer trust, and building products that can act on a customer’s behalf. Bring your questions about what to ship, how to measure its value, and where human judgment still matters.

Come be part of the refreshed Products That Count San Francisco community. Meet fellow product builders over pizza and share what you’re working on.

What we’ll explore

  • What it takes to move AI from prototype to production.
  • How knowledge systems and product decisions shape customer trust.
  • What changes in product work when building agents.
  • The mistakes Mukesh would avoid if he were starting again.

Who should join

Product builders and leaders, including people working in UX, customer experience, and adjacent roles who help shape and build products. If you’re exploring how AI changes what you can build and how you work, this conversation is for you.

Over pizza, tell Ankit what you’re working on and which topics you’d like the SF chapter to explore next. Your questions and ideas can help shape future gatherings.
