The session will explore how AI is reshaping the workplace and offer practical ways to use it effectively and responsibly in your career.
Inside the event
ALPFA will host an AI Literacy Event designed to help members better understand artificial intelligence, how it is changing the workplace, and how they can use AI effectively and responsibly in their careers.
The session will provide an accessible introduction to key AI concepts, including generative AI, large language models, and emerging AI tools. Rather than focusing heavily on technical details, the event will emphasize practical applications that ALPFA members can immediately apply in their professional and personal development.
Participants will explore how AI can be used to improve productivity, support research and problem-solving, enhance communication, and accelerate career development. The discussion will also address important considerations such as responsible AI use, data privacy, accuracy, bias, and the importance of maintaining human judgment when using AI-generated information.
Through demonstrations, real-world examples, and interactive discussion, attendees will leave with a stronger understanding of how to confidently engage with AI tools and adapt to an increasingly AI-enabled workplace.
