What to look forward to
Everyday professionals will showcase AI projects they built for civics and elections at The Upskilling Labs' Summit, demonstrating how real people are reshaping critical industries alongside emerging technology rather than being disrupted by it. The community-driven event features live project demos, panel discussions, and networking with hundreds of participants building practical AI solutions across diverse backgrounds.
Inside the event
What happens when everyday professionals start building with AI? Come see for yourself. This isn't a conference about the future of work—it's a hands-on demonstration of it. Join us for The Upskilling Labs' Summit, where our community takes the stage to show what they built over the Civics and Elections build cycle, and we kick off what's next: A Retrospective. Why civics and elections? Why a Retrospective? These are foundational sectors—ones that are critical to the future of our country, and where AI will immensely reshape how work gets done. We believe that disruption in sectors this important shouldn't happen to people. It should happen with them. That's why we're building a community where professionals from all backgrounds can learn, experiment, and shape how these tools show up in the real world.
Our Upskiller community has come a long way in a short time. In Q4, we'll test what an 8 week build cycle might look like, throwing a few of our very own organizational problems into the mix, inviting our community to build with us. The Upskilling Labs (https://theupskillinglabs.org/) is an open, project-based learning community where you build real things with real people. Every quarter, we run a Build Cycle themed around an industry—participants form pods around real problems, develop AI-enabled solutions together, and showcase what they've built. No credentials required. Just show up ready to learn alongside others.
The Upskilling Labs records then transcribes workshop and keynote events with AI for marketing purposes.
