Singapore-based Ailytics has raised US$7.4 million to grow a business that uses existing security cameras to spot industrial hazards. Tin Men Capital led the Series A, which will fund international teams and industry-specific AI models as the company pushes further into demanding outdoor workplaces, according to DealStreetAsia.
Other investors include SEEDS, part of SG Growth Capital, and Japanese cloud camera company Safie. An unnamed Japanese construction company, family offices and existing investors also joined the round. Tin Men previously led Ailytics’ US$2.7 million pre-Series A in April 2024, making the new financing a follow-on commitment from its lead backer.
The business grew out of a 2019 research project between the National University of Singapore and Singapore’s Housing and Development Board. Established as a company in 2021, Ailytics began on public housing projects before moving beyond construction into other industrial settings. Its software lets businesses use camera infrastructure they already have rather than install new systems.
Reading hazards through old cameras
Ailytics’ platform, Ailyssa, analyses closed-circuit television feeds to monitor workplace safety and operational performance. It identifies potential hazards and sends real-time alerts. The company says it can derive three-dimensional spatial understanding from a single two-dimensional video feed, rather than requiring a new set of cameras to capture the scene.
Ailytics says the system works through rain, dust, poor lighting and obstructed views, including feeds from decades-old cameras. Its AilyssaX reasoning engine is designed to interpret scenes as activity unfolds and check multi-step procedures. Those are company-described capabilities; the product is aimed at industrial environments rather than controlled camera settings.
This round lets us build our own domain-specific reasoning models and keep the cost of running AI low as demand grows

From housing projects to airport construction
Since the April 2024 financing, Ailytics says its footprint has grown from 70 projects in four countries to more than 400 deployments across 15 countries. The company names customers and sites spanning steelmaking, shipyards, logistics and airports:
- Industrial and logistics deployments include NatSteel, shipyard operator PaxOcean in Indonesia, and DHL.
- Airport deployments include Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci International Airport and the construction site for Singapore’s Changi Airport Terminal 5.
- At the Terminal 5 construction site, Ailytics says its system monitors more than 1,000 cameras.
Ailytics also says the platform has detected more than 5.7 million hazards and monitored over 500 million square metres of active worksites. According to the company, customers have reported a 73% reduction in total recordable incident rates and 84% fewer safety non-compliances. Those outcome figures are customer results relayed by Ailytics, not independently verified findings.
Local teams and a deeper Japan partnership
The funding will strengthen local teams in the US, Japan, Australia and the Gulf, CEO Lenard Tan said. Ailytics also plans to develop models tailored to particular industries and extend its reach across manufacturing, logistics, oil and gas, maritime and mining. The intended spending covers both international operations and the technology behind its alerts.
Safie’s participation builds on an existing relationship in Japan, one of Ailytics’ priority markets. The companies signed a memorandum of understanding in April 2026, witnessed by Enterprise Singapore and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Safie supplies 29 of Japan’s 30 largest construction companies, giving the new investor a substantial presence in a sector where Ailytics already operates.
