ASUS Adds RTX Spark to ProArt PCs for Local AI Work
The new creator systems center on memory capacity and local execution, while ASUS’s performance and workload figures remain company-supplied specifications.

ASUS has introduced two ProArt laptops and a compact desktop powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark, aiming to move more creator and developer AI work onto the device. The platform is specified with up to 128GB of unified memory, giving ASUS a hardware basis for its local and hybrid workflow pitch rather than a cloud-only AI setup.
The computing package behind the local-AI pitch
RTX Spark combines a Blackwell RTX GPU with 6,144 cores, a Grace CPU with up to 20 cores, fifth-generation Tensor Cores using FP4 precision, and NVIDIA’s NVLink-C2C chip-to-chip connection. ASUS rates the platform at up to one petaflop of AI performance.
ASUS says that capacity can support language models with up to 120 billion parameters, 3D scenes larger than 90GB, and 4K AI video generation. Those are company-supplied workload claims, not independent test results.
One platform across three machines
The ProArt P16 and P14 bring the platform to mobile systems. The P16 is 12.9mm thick and weighs 1.77kg; the P14 is 13.9mm thick and weighs 1.48kg.
The desktop option, the ProArt GR1X, measures 150 × 150 × 51mm and includes 10GbE networking, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and support for up to four 4K displays. ASUS positions it for always-on AI computing and describes it as the world’s first Windows PC built for personal agents.
Software keeps the cloud in the workflow
ASUS is not presenting ProArt as a strictly offline setup. Its pitch combines local RTX-accelerated work with cloud creative services, allowing creators to choose between them based on performance, privacy, and creative needs.

ASUS announced the systems at its Berlin IFA showroom, running September 2 through September 5 for invited media and partners. The company is using the event for demonstrations of AI-powered creative and agentic workflows on ProArt PCs.
