Automation Anywhere has agreed to acquire Boost.ai from Nordic Capital, aiming to connect customer conversations with the business systems that carry out their requests. Announced October 7, 2026, the planned purchase would add customer-facing conversational and voice AI to its enterprise automation offering—not just another way to answer questions.
The companies expect the transaction to close in Q4 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. Automation Anywhere did not disclose a purchase price. The agreement sets out an intended combination; the acquisition is not yet complete.
From employee service to customer requests
The deal follows Automation Anywhere’s acquisition of Aisera in late 2025. That purchase added enterprise knowledge and automated employee service to its platform. Boost.ai would address a different entry point: customers expressing what they need through voice, chat and other digital channels, before work moves into internal business systems.
Boost.ai serves hundreds of customer organizations, with particular strength in Europe and regulated industries including financial services, telecommunications and insurance, according to the announcement. Automation Anywhere describes that customer base as a fit for its own customers operating in similarly complex industries.
The technology behind the conversation
Boost.ai’s hybrid architecture combines natural language understanding—technology for interpreting what a person means—with generative AI and AI agents. The announcement says the platform supports more than 36 languages and achieves a resolution rate above 90% in production deployments. That performance figure is company-supplied, not an independent assessment.
The announcement also describes security and privacy measures aligned with GDPR and HIPAA requirements and supported by an independent SOC 2 report. Those are part of the companies’ case for deploying conversational AI in businesses where compliance and governance are central requirements.
By joining Automation Anywhere, we can connect the conversation, including voice, directly to the systems and people who get the work done, so a customer's request is handled from start to finish.

The next step is execution
Automation Anywhere calls the intended workflow its “Conversation-to-Outcome Loop.” A customer or employee makes a request; AI interprets the intent and context, works within company rules, coordinates people and software, and executes tasks across connected applications. The company says people would handle decisions requiring judgment or exceptions.
The proposed combination spans three kinds of work, with different roles for the acquired technology and the existing automation platform:
- Customer operations: Connect requests made through voice, chat, digital channels and AI agents to the work needed to fulfill them.
- Employee operations: Combine AI-powered service with automation to resolve requests across IT, finance and human resources.
- Business operations: Coordinate processes across enterprise planning, customer-management and other applications, combining AI agents with rules-based automation.
