Broadcom’s OCP program positions its Ethernet switching, NIC and optical-interconnect portfolio as building blocks for large AI clusters, with partner demos centered on Tomahawk 6 and co-packaged optics. The agenda includes designs for clusters exceeding 100,000 accelerators and technical sessions with OpenAI and other companies. For attendees, the practical value is a chance to see partner implementations across the show floor; Broadcom has described the program as a showcase, not a product launch, and has not provided a livestream link.
The portfolio spans Tomahawk 6, Tomahawk Ultra and Jericho 4 switches, Thor Ultra 800G and Thor 2 400G NICs, and third-generation TH6-Davisson optics.
Five named partner demonstrations feature Tomahawk 6 or 102.4T co-packaged optics at booths in Expo Halls 2 and 3.
Broadcom’s October 12 keynote by Asad Khamisy is scheduled to cover open networking, optical interconnects and modular rack designs.
Broadcom’s AI infrastructure showcase runs October 12–15, 2026, at the OCP Global Summit in San Jose. Its keynote starts October 12 at 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time, with partner demonstrations planned across the show floor. Broadcom’s announcement gives an in-person venue but no livestream link; the confirmed program is a showcase, not a product launch.
Announced October 8, the program brings together Broadcom’s networking hardware, rack designs and optical connections. The company says it will work with more than 15 companies on demonstrations. Its featured equipment includes Ethernet switches, network interface cards, PCIe components and integrated optics for Open Rack Version 3 solutions.
Asad Khamisy, senior vice president and general manager of Broadcom’s Core Switching Group, will deliver “Scaling AI Infrastructure Through Open Innovation” in the South Hall of the San Jose Convention Center. Broadcom says he will discuss open networking, optical interconnects and modular rack designs, alongside the challenges of building switch hardware for AI networks.
The hardware lineup spans several product families rather than one device. Broadcom lists Tomahawk 6, Tomahawk Ultra and Jericho 4 Ethernet switches; Thor Ultra 800G and Thor 2 400G network interface cards; and third-generation TH6-Davisson co-packaged optics. The company presents that portfolio as its approach to bandwidth demands from larger, more complex AI models.
The named show-floor demonstrations concentrate on Tomahawk 6 and Tomahawk 6-Davisson optics. Broadcom identifies five partners and their booth locations, giving attendees specific stops for the hardware portion of its program:
Broadcom’s speaking schedule also includes sessions with engineers from its partners and AI customers. On October 12, Manish Mehta joins Celestica’s Tareq Bustami and OpenAI’s Binbin Guan for “Designing the Next AI Fabric: When Compute Meets Optics.” On October 14, Broadcom’s Eric Spada and OpenAI’s Guohan Lu will discuss AI networking using Multi-path Reliable Connections.
Other scheduled discussions cover Ethernet transport for scale-up networking with Arista Networks, firmware-update authorization with Lenovo and Microsoft, and precision timing with Nokia. The agenda therefore reaches beyond faster connections to include transport, firmware policy and timing—separate technical subjects within Broadcom’s summit program.
