Clueso is positioning video production as an updateable workflow, not a one-off generation task: its agents can navigate software, record demonstrations, create branded edits, and rerun workflows when products change. The $10 million Series A, led by Dharana Capital, will fund enterprise sales, agent development, editing, and integrations with company knowledge systems; more than 80% came from existing backers, and the round brings total funding to $12 million. Maintenance and knowledge integrations are central tests of the pitch, while reported savings remain company-published results rather than universal outcomes.
Clueso says more than 1,000 businesses use its platform, and plans to grow its team from 35 to 50 by year-end.
The company reports productivity gains above fivefold and an 80% reduction in production costs, based on customer results it published.

Clueso has raised a $10 million Series A to develop AI agents that create business videos and keep them current as products and processes change. Announced October 13, 2026, the Dharana Capital-led financing brings its total funding to $12 million. The company says more than 1,000 businesses already use its platform.
Founders Future and Neotribe Ventures joined as new investors, while Y Combinator and f7 Ventures continued participating. Clueso says more than 80% of the new capital came from existing investors. Its planned spending covers enterprise sales, further development of its AI agents, broader editing capabilities and integrations with systems that hold product and company knowledge.
Clueso describes agents—AI systems that carry out tasks—as a production team rather than a single video generator. A project can begin with a software workflow, document, presentation, screen recording or an idea. The platform then automates work such as understanding the material, writing a script, capturing footage and assembling the finished video.
For a software tutorial, that includes working inside the product itself. Clueso says its computer agents navigate real software, perform the relevant workflow and capture the footage needed to explain it. Production does not have to start with someone manually recording every action on screen.
SiliconANGLE reports that custom templates called Clueprints provide agents with product information and messaging to enforce brand standards. It describes those Clueprints as self-updating, so a video can reflect a new product feature. These are existing platform capabilities described alongside the financing, not a separate launch announced with the round.
Co-founder and CEO Akash Anand told SiliconANGLE that the founders encountered the problem while building Desklamp, a collaborative note-taking application for students. Producing its marketing videos meant booking a studio, recording voiceovers, animating the interface in Adobe After Effects and editing each cut by hand. A single video could take two weeks, he said; agencies quoted $6,000 per video.
Clueso initially helped customer-facing teams make product tutorials faster, Anand said in the funding announcement. It then found similar needs in marketing, sales, training and internal documentation. The company now names Atlassian, Zendesk, Gainsight, GlobalPartners, Seismic and Ironclad among its customers.
In testimonials included in the announcement, Atlassian’s head of customer learning, Garrett Marttinen, described a reduced burden of creating and maintaining learning videos. Zendesk’s senior manager of instructional design, Kevin Gross, said the tool reduced production time and expanded output for internal and customer-facing content.
Clueso also says teams have reported productivity gains above fivefold and an 80% reduction in video production costs. Those are company-published customer results, not a guaranteed saving for every business.
The platform already connects to other company systems for context. Clueso says its Model Context Protocol connection, a way for AI assistants to use outside tools, lets Claude and ChatGPT create, edit and manage videos through Clueso. The funding is intended to connect video production more tightly to the systems where company knowledge lives.
SiliconANGLE reports that Clueso plans to grow from 35 employees to 50 by year-end and extend its capabilities into interactive product demos and documentation creation. Those remain expansion plans. Anand’s stated long-term goal is for agents to handle more production mechanics while people retain control over creative decisions.
