Cyera now carries a reported $12 billion valuation, up from $9 billion in January. The higher price follows another $400 million financing for the data-security company, whose tools govern access to company data by people and AI agents.
The round is an extension of Cyera’s Series G. Evolution Equity Partners led it, with backing from Goldman Sachs Growth Equity. Crunchbase puts Cyera’s total funding at $2.7 billion. That is capital raised, not a measure of sales or profit.
Two $400 million rounds, two prices
Cyera also raised $400 million in January, when its reported valuation was $9 billion. The latest round puts a higher price on the company only months later. It does not, by itself, show how much its business grew between those financings.
One large customer, and a wider claim
CEO and co-founder Yotam Segev said Cyera recently signed its first customer spending more than $10 million a year with the company. It is a concrete sign that at least one buyer has committed substantial spending. It does not show whether contracts of that size are becoming typical across Cyera’s customer base.
Cyera sells enterprise data-security tools that govern access by humans and AI agents. Segev described demand for its solutions as much more urgent, telling The Wall Street Journal that the urgency had grown “10-fold,” according to PYMNTS. That is his assessment of the market, rather than a disclosed measure of Cyera’s overall customer spending.
Where acquisitions fit
Cyera recently bought Oasis Security in a $1 billion cash-and-stock deal. Oasis focused on managing identities that are not people, including AI agents and automated software tools. That focus sits beside Cyera’s work governing access to enterprise data: businesses need to account for what automated systems can reach, not only what employees can reach.
Segev said internal engineering would drive most product development, but Cyera would keep looking at companies that could strengthen its platform. The new financing gives it more capital as it weighs that choice. He did not identify another acquisition target in the account cited by PYMNTS, so the next deal remains a possibility, not an announced plan.
