FPT and NAVER Cloud’s memorandum of understanding would package HyperCLOVA X access, GPU cloud capacity and customer-facing engineering for enterprise deployments, giving NAVER Cloud a route into FPT’s customer base beyond Korea and Vietnam. It ties model access to implementation work, including GPU optimization, inference tuning and production AI agents, rather than a standalone model deal. The plan remains conditional: the companies have announced neither an availability date nor pricing, and intend to develop and commercialize services across Asia-Pacific and other markets.
FPT says AI Factory serves more than 18,000 AI developers and 2,000 enterprises worldwide, with AI Factories in Vietnam and Japan.
Planned technical exchanges will involve FPT engineers and teams at NAVER Cloud’s Vietnam Development Center and headquarters.
The partners plan to optimize GPU infrastructure, improve inference performance and deploy AI agents in customer operations.
FPT and NAVER Cloud have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop and deliver enterprise AI services across Asia-Pacific and other markets. The alliance pairs planned access to NAVER Cloud’s HyperCLOVA X model with engineers working directly on customer deployments. FPT outlined the agreement in a company press release distributed through Business Wire.
The companies will work toward offering HyperCLOVA X to FPT enterprise customers through FPT AI Factory. That access is planned, with no announced availability date or price. The agreement also covers joint technology development, AI service delivery and commercialization.
NAVER Cloud CEO Yuwon Kim said the collaboration combines his company’s AI technology and experience with FPT’s AI Factory and enterprise business capabilities. He said the partners intend to reach beyond Korea and Vietnam to serve customers across Asia-Pacific.
FPT and NAVER Cloud plan regular technical exchanges involving FPT engineers and teams from NAVER Cloud’s Vietnam Development Center and headquarters. The aim is to strengthen forward-deployed engineering: teams that work directly with customers to put AI systems into operation. Their planned work includes:
Enterprise AI increasingly requires infrastructure, models, and engineering capabilities to work together as one integrated foundation.
Le Xuan Loc, FPT Korea Deputy Director and Chief Delivery Officer
FPT says its NVIDIA-powered AI Factory platform serves more than 18,000 AI developers and over 2,000 enterprises worldwide. FPT also operates AI Factories in Vietnam and Japan. The alliance aims to accelerate enterprise AI development and deployment on that platform across Asia-Pacific and other global markets.
The companies say combining GPU cloud capacity, models ready for inference and service operations will let enterprises deploy AI without building their own infrastructure. They position faster delivery as a benefit of the collaboration, bringing the computing platform and deployment support into one offering.
