GeekyAnts says it has earned Select Partner status in the OpenAI Partner Network, adding a formal designation to its enterprise AI consulting business. Announced October 19, 2026, the status supports the company’s pitch around deployment: connecting models to business data, security controls and existing workflows, rather than simply giving clients access to AI.
Engineering work came before the designation
The announcement, distributed through FinanceWire, traces GeekyAnts’ work with OpenAI models back to 2023. That year, the company connected topgeek, its internal hiring platform, to OpenAI’s API—the interface software uses to send requests to a model. Deepgram transcribed spoken interview answers; the OpenAI connection then rated responses and produced feedback.
It also describes a separate GeekyAnts case study involving automated candidate screening. That system combines GPT-4 with LangChain to generate questions based on a candidate’s résumé and adapt them during an interview.
Those examples illustrate the kind of integration work GeekyAnts is selling alongside the new status. Its stated consulting practice covers generative AI, copilots, automation, agent workflows and systems that retrieve company information for models to use. The company describes its approach as combining strategic advice with hands-on engineering.
A June program built around delivery
According to the release, OpenAI introduced the partner network on June 14, 2026, to help companies build, sell and deliver AI solutions. Its stated rationale is that model capability alone does not produce enterprise value. Selecting useful applications, redesigning work, connecting business systems and getting employees to adopt them remain part of the job.
The network has three tiers: Select, Advanced and Elite. The release says tier requirements cover sales performance, technical capability, joint selling activity and deployment experience.
The program’s ambitions extend beyond individual partner appointments. The release describes an OpenAI commitment of $150 million to its partner ecosystem and a goal to train and enable 300,000 certified consultants by the end of 2026. Those are network-wide commitments and targets, not funding awarded to GeekyAnts or a count of consultants it employs.
The work that matters most is connecting models to company data, security controls, and the workflows teams already run.

What follows Select status
For GeekyAnts, Pratik frames the designation as strengthening its existing delivery approach, rather than introducing a new product. He says enterprise clients want AI programs that hold up in production and demonstrate clear value.
The network also has further paths planned. Partners will be able to earn specializations in areas including Codex, cybersecurity and agents, the release says. OpenAI is also piloting a Forward Deployed Experts program, pairing qualified partner practitioners with its own engineering teams on complex deployments.
