Story brief
3 key pointsGoDaddy’s BI overhaul illustrates a migration used to rationalize analytics rather than reproduce legacy inventory: fewer than 2,500 dashboards remain from 5,000+, and reported render times fell below five seconds from peaks of 15 minutes. The AWS-based stack now supports automated weekly reviews and seven task-specific agents, with GoDaddy estimating 7,900+ annual hours saved from Quick automation.

Quick Flows has run GoDaddy’s Weekly Business Review more than 100 times since early 2026, saving an estimated 1,900 hours annually.
GoDaddy has completed a roughly two-year migration from its legacy business-intelligence tool to Amazon Quick Sight, which became Amazon Quick in October 2025. The company shut down its prior system in December 2025 and says the move reduced its dashboard portfolio from more than 5,000 to fewer than 2,500 while cutting rendering times from as long as 15 minutes to under five seconds.
The migration was a redesign, not a straight transfer of reports. GoDaddy’s centralized BI team served marketing, finance, product and customer-experience teams, but demand exceeded its capacity. The company used the transition to retire redundant and underused dashboards instead of recreating its entire catalog.
A simpler route from data to report
GoDaddy began its formal BI evaluation in early 2023. It selected Quick Sight for integration with its AWS environment, serverless auto scaling, pay-as-you-go pricing and built-in machine-learning features. In the finished deployment, data connections run through Amazon Redshift and Okta provides single sign-on.
Automation takes on the weekly review
Amazon Quick added Quick Research, Quick Flows and custom chat agents alongside the core BI product. GoDaddy uses Quick Flows for its Weekly Business Review: the flow reviews relevant dashboards, finds trends and anomalies, and produces a structured summary for executive review. It has run more than 100 times since the start of 2026; GoDaddy estimates all flows save more than 1,900 hours each year.
Agents target specific work, not a general chatbot
GoDaddy has deployed seven custom chat agents for dashboard navigation, analytical help, domain auctions, account growth, customer experience and product management. The company recorded 1,999 agent queries in April 2026 and estimates those agents save about 6,000 hours annually.
By the end of 2025, GoDaddy reported more than 4,298 active users, 2,532 dashboards and 229 production topics. It estimates more than 7,900 annual hours saved from Quick automation, separate from a broader estimate of more than 15,000 hours saved across the full transformation.
