Google Adds Seven Languages to AI Ad Guidance, Plans Unified Search Ads Report

Google is giving more advertisers a way to guide AI Max in their own words, while promising a clearer account of the search ads it serves. The company is extending AI Brief’s closed beta to seven more languages and planning a Google Ads report that connects search terms, ad creative and landing pages in one view.

Guidance in the advertiser’s own words

AI Brief lets an advertiser describe its business, intended audience and key messages to AI Max. The change is to the languages in which advertisers can provide that context: Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish are joining the closed beta.

The distinction is access to a way of explaining the campaign, not a new ad format. An advertiser can supply detailed context in ordinary language rather than leave AI Max without that written guidance. Because the expansion is still a closed beta, adding languages does not make AI Brief broadly available.

One trail from search to landing page

The planned Google Ads report tackles a different job: showing what happened along a search ad’s path. Google says it will put the search terms that triggered an ad, the creative assets a person saw and the page they reached on the advertiser’s website into a single view. Those details describe the journey in order, from the query to the destination, rather than leaving the advertiser to consider each element separately.

Google says that view will help advertisers understand customer interactions and validate AI Max’s strategic value. It is a useful distinction to keep in mind: the feature Google has described would trace what appeared and where a visitor landed. The announcement does not describe a comparison with campaigns run without AI Max, so the promised view should not be mistaken for that kind of test.

For now, the practical split is clear. Advertisers in the newly added languages may have a route into AI Brief’s limited test, while anyone waiting to use the unified report still needs a release date. Google says it will provide availability details later this year.
