Hang Ten Systems has raised another $53 million in seed funding, bringing its total to $85 million five weeks after its first seed round. The financing gives the young enterprise AI company more capital to expand customer work and its delivery teams.
Xora Innovation, a Temasek-backed fund, led the new financing. Mayfield and Aramco Ventures participated. Hang Ten was founded in May by former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka, and Mayfield had led its initial $32 million seed round.
A services model, not another model maker
Hang Ten says it advises large enterprises on AI strategy, then builds and modernizes software. Its work spans software development, migration, finance and analytics, and it typically targets companies with more than $10 billion in annual revenue.
The company is not pitching a standalone AI model. It says its in-house Hobie framework packages reusable AI skills for regulated industries and complex software projects, positioning Hang Ten as an implementation partner for work inside large organizations.
Early enterprise work drew investor attention
Hang Ten said it has signed several multimillion-dollar contracts with global enterprises and named Saudi Aramco as a customer. Sikka told TechCrunch the company was working with existing customers and late-stage prospects spanning 21 major enterprises.
The commercial figures are company-reported. Hang Ten said it had secured multiple seven-figure contracts and was pursuing eight-figure deals. Sikka declined to disclose its valuation, saying only that the second seed round represented a bump up from the first.
- Expand engineering, consulting and sales teams.
- Increase capacity for customer projects.
- Develop its AI platform and hire in Europe and India.
Scaling is the unresolved test
Hang Ten has about 20 to 25 employees across the United States, the Middle East and Australia. It is entering a market where both AI model developers and established consulting firms are broadening their enterprise offerings.
Sikka said some Hang Ten engagements are replacing incumbent systems integrators, while more than half of its opportunities involve projects companies had deferred. The company says teams of two to four can handle some projects that previously needed about 30 people, but customers or independent third parties still conduct final quality checks and certification.
