Journify raises $12 million to take its AI advertising-data platform into the US and Europe
The startup connects retailers’ customer records with major advertising platforms. It reports strong growth, but has not disclosed its valuation or current revenue.
Journify’s $12 million Series A will fund expansion from its Gulf markets into the US and Europe, while extending software that routes verified purchase and customer-value signals—including physical-store sales—to advertising platforms. The round was priced at four times the company’s previous valuation, but Journify disclosed neither its new valuation nor investors’ individual stakes. Its pitch is that richer conversion data can improve targeting beyond clicks; US performance remains unproven, and reported retailer gains are company-supplied.

Al Mada Ventures, linked to Morocco’s royal-family-controlled investment group, has led a $12 million Series A in Journify. Announced November 3, 2026, the financing will support US and European expansion. The startup’s pitch is to give advertising algorithms a fuller picture of purchases and customer value, rather than just clicks.
Returning investor Silicon Badia co-led the round. Shorooq and Bunat Ventures increased their investments, while Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital joined as new backers. Journify said the deal was priced at four times its previous valuation, although it did not disclose the resulting dollar value or the ownership stakes investors acquired.
Al Mada Ventures describes itself as a $110 million fund backed entirely by African capital. Its associated investment group, Al Mada, is controlled by Morocco’s royal family and has interests across banking, mining, energy and telecommunications. The $12 million is the size of the whole round; Al Mada Ventures’ individual contribution was not disclosed.
For Silicon Badia, this is a follow-on investment: it led a $4 million round in Journify in February 2025. The company was founded in 2022 by Taoufik El Jamali, Amine Chouki and Omar Al Shoubaki. It is headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in Dubai and Riyadh.
Getting store sales back to advertising algorithms
Journify sits between a business’s own customer records and the platforms where it buys advertising. Its software connects information from websites, mobile apps, physical-store sales, customer-management systems, ecommerce platforms and data warehouses. It checks and adds detail to records of purchases, registrations and other customer actions before passing approved information to advertising platforms.
Those destinations include Google, Meta, TikTok, Snap and Amazon Ads. Journify says it sends consented customer signals through servers, rather than relying solely on tracking in a customer’s browser. The information can include an actual store purchase—an outcome that may otherwise remain disconnected from the advertising systems trying to identify likely buyers.

The company identifies browser restrictions, broken tracking and disconnected offline sales as reasons advertising algorithms receive an incomplete picture. El Jamali, Journify’s co-founder and chief executive, describes the goal as helping those systems understand repeat purchases and lasting customer value. That is a different target from simply identifying people likely to click an advertisement.
Journify already uses AI to monitor data connections, identify problems with the information being sent and correct them, according to its announcement. It also offers AI Insights for questions about advertising performance. Part of the new capital will develop those capabilities as the company moves beyond the Gulf Cooperation Council markets.

Retailer results underpin the expansion pitch
Journify says more than 100 businesses use its platform, collectively representing hundreds of millions of dollars in annual advertising spending. That figure describes customers’ advertising budgets, not Journify’s revenue. Its announcement names Saudi retailers as examples of how better purchase information can translate into improved campaign results, with gains reported on both Meta and TikTok.
Jarir Bookstore: Journify says the Saudi retailer increased its return on advertising spending on Meta by 182%.
Baytonia: The Saudi ecommerce brand increased its return on TikTok advertising spending by 80% and cut its cost per purchase by 44%, according to Journify.
Those performance figures were supplied by Journify and have not been independently audited. Revenue growth is also reported without an absolute figure: Silicon Badia partner Hossam Shafick said revenue had risen more than fivefold since the firm’s initial investment. Journify did not disclose its current revenue or the starting figure behind that growth calculation.
The financing announcement also introduced Ryan Burke, a three-time chief revenue officer, as a newly appointed board member. Burke said he expects the Middle Eastern results to translate to the US and framed the challenge as how quickly Journify can scale. That is the expansion case its new investors are backing, not a demonstrated US operating result.
