Lundbeck’s next test is operational rather than technical: whether EVERSANA’s regulated-workflow platform can coordinate four U.S. commercial functions without weakening medical, legal, and regulatory oversight. The companies announced the expansion August 25 after an initial deployment covering planning, content, and execution. AI Agency, launched in 2025 with Google Cloud, combines agentic AI, automation, and human expertise.
Expansion targets marketing, medical communications, market access, and media operations in Lundbeck’s U.S. commercial organization.
Medical, legal, and regulatory review remains in the workflow as deployment widens.
EVERSANA says AI Agency supports strategy, content, omnichannel engagement, and execution; additional operational use cases are still exploratory.
Lundbeck is extending EVERSANA’s AI Agency across marketing, medical communications, market access and media operations in its U.S. commercial organization. The move turns an earlier AI workflow deployment into a broader commercialization program.
Lundbeck and EVERSANA announced the expanded partnership on August 25. Lundbeck will broaden its use of the platform and EVERSANA’s related commercialization capabilities; the companies say the program is intended to support strategy development, content creation, omnichannel engagement and commercial execution.
The first phase introduced AI-driven workflows for strategic planning, content development and commercial execution. Medical, legal and regulatory review remained part of that work, a significant constraint as the companies move the program into more parts of the commercial organization.
EVERSANA describes AI Agency as an end-to-end life-sciences commercialization platform that combines agentic AI, automation and human expertise. It says the platform is built to support pharmaceutical compliance and governance requirements. AI Agency launched in 2025 and was developed in collaboration with Google Cloud.
Lundbeck says the partnership should improve how its commercial organization thinks, decides and executes. EVERSANA says the model can help teams move faster and operate more efficiently while maintaining quality and scientific rigor. The announcement characterizes the initial deployment as successful, but provides no measured results on speed, quality or commercial outcomes; those benefits remain company-stated objectives as the rollout broadens.
