Meta has introduced Style Sketch, a mobile styling app that turns a user’s existing clothing into outfit suggestions and trip-by-trip packing plans. It combines wardrobe items sourced from Instagram or user uploads with virtual try-ons, and can factor destination, itinerary and weather into travel looks—taking the product beyond single-outfit recommendations. The app is currently available on iOS and Android only in Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand; Meta has not said whether it will expand.
Users can add clothing by taking photos, recording short videos or uploading images from their camera roll.
They can ask Style Sketch to build combinations around a specific clothing item instead of relying solely on automatic suggestions.
The app description says try-on looks use a model matched to a user’s body shape and skin tone; that appearance and fit claim has not been independently verified.
Instagram photos can now serve as the starting point for a digital wardrobe that suggests what to wear. Meta has launched Style Sketch, an AI fashion app built around clothes users already own. It is available on iOS and Android in Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand, with virtual try-ons and trip outfit planning.
Social media consultant Matt Navarra first spotted the app, according to TechCrunch. He posted about it on October 28, 2026, drawing attention to its wardrobe-building, outfit and packing features.
Style Sketch connects to Instagram to build a virtual closet from photos a person has posted. That is not the only way to supply the wardrobe: users can add clothing by taking a photo, recording a short video or uploading images from their camera roll.
The app description says Style Sketch combines pieces from that wardrobe into outfits matched to the user’s style. Users can also choose a particular item and ask for combinations built around it, rather than leave the starting point entirely to the app.
Virtual try-ons add a visual preview. According to the description quoted by TechCrunch, the outfits appear on a model matched to the user’s body shape and skin tone. That match is a product claim, not an independently verified measure of clothing appearance or fit.
For travel, users enter their destination, trip length and planned activities. Style Sketch can then produce a day-by-day outfit plan that takes both the itinerary and weather forecast into account. The feature extends the wardrobe suggestions from choosing an individual outfit to organizing clothing across a trip.
