Bloomberg-reported financing has lifted Moonshot AI’s private valuation to about $50 billion, while the company makes preparations for a potential Hong Kong IPO. A confidential filing and four named overall coordinators point to concrete listing work, but a first-quarter 2027 debut and a share sale of up to $5 billion remain under discussion, not set. Investors will also be watching whether Moonshot can meet its reported forecast of $2 billion in annual recurring revenue by December 2026.
The $50 billion figure is the company’s reported valuation, not the amount of cash raised in the newly closed round.
Moonshot’s ARR is reported at about $1 billion currently, after CTech reported $300 million in June.
Investor-demand meetings could start as soon as October, but discussions may still change or delay the offering.
Moonshot AI now carries a reported private valuation of about $50 billion, up from $31.5 billion earlier this summer, as it prepares for a possible Hong Kong stock-market debut. The increase follows a newly closed funding round, according to Bloomberg reporting cited by CTech, giving the company a higher valuation ahead of its potential listing.
The $50 billion figure describes the reported value of the company, not the cash raised in this financing.
Moonshot is considering an initial public offering, or IPO, in Hong Kong as early as the first quarter of 2027. The prospective share sale could raise as much as $5 billion, according to people familiar with the matter cited by Bloomberg.
The financing comes alongside a reported expectation that Moonshot’s annual recurring revenue will reach $2 billion by December 2026, from approximately $1 billion currently. People familiar with the matter supplied those figures to Bloomberg. The December number is a forecast, not a level the company has already reached.
CTech also reports that Moonshot had reached $300 million in annual recurring revenue in June. That earlier figure gives the current estimate a shorter-term comparison: the reported revenue measure has risen substantially within months. The year-end expectation would require another doubling from its current level before the earliest contemplated IPO window.
