Nauta has raised strategic financing led by BMW i Ventures, Bosch Ventures, Hitachi Ventures and Yamaha Motor Ventures for software that gives AI agents operational context in global trade. The company is building around a practical constraint: supply-chain work is spread across systems, documents and email.
Existing investors Construct Capital and Predictive also participated. Financial terms were not disclosed. Nauta plans to use the capital for global expansion, AI-native technical hiring and expansion into trade sectors including payment services.
A data layer before the agents
Nauta says it combines data from company systems, documents and email into an AI-native data layer. That layer includes details such as product codes, contracts, transport lanes and workflows, creating a current model of a customer’s operation rather than a fixed workflow map.
On top of that layer, Nauta says it deploys 20 purpose-built AI agents across inventory, logistics and procurement. The intended order is clear: structure company-specific context, then have agents reason, decide and execute work using it.
The company’s claimed proof points
Nauta says its platform supports more than 8,000 suppliers across 60 countries. It names distributors associated with New Balance, Ashley Furniture HomeStore, L’Oréal, Modelo and Moët & Chandon among its customers.
Company-supplied operating results
- Teams reclaim about 37% of operational hours per operator each week, Nauta says.
- For one customer, Nauta says it auto-matched more than 80% of shipping documents, while staff reviewed outlier exceptions manually.
- For that customer, Nauta says it prevented $3 million in detention and demurrage charges, avoided a $300,000 invoice discrepancy and prevented $1.5 million in stockouts in less than six months.
Those outcomes are Nauta’s own customer figures, not independent benchmarks. The financing signals investor interest in its data-first design; the undisclosed deal size leaves the scale of that commitment unknown.
