NetBox Labs is connecting its infrastructure records to more of the tools that configure, monitor and change networks. At its first NetBox Evolve conference on October 13, 2026, the company announced NVIDIA and Grafana Labs partnerships alongside new design and AI-agent capabilities, linking the record of what should exist to systems that operate it.
From infrastructure records to operating tools
The NVIDIA partnership makes NetBox a native source of truth for NVIDIA Configuration Manager, or NVCM. That is the network orchestration component of NVIDIA DSX OS: software that coordinates network configuration. Configuration comes from NetBox’s infrastructure records, supplying the data used to automate configuration across NVIDIA-native cluster networks.
The Grafana partnership addresses a different part of operations. Monitoring data shows what equipment is doing; NetBox supplies information about the equipment itself. The companies released an official, free, open-source NetBox plugin in the Grafana catalog to bring that context into dashboards and alerts.
The plugin carries live details including site, role, tenant, rack, owner and lifecycle status. Those fields can connect a metric to a device’s location or responsibility, rather than leaving operators with a reading alone. NetBox Labs says the plugin requires no pipeline changes, avoids stale labels and adds no metric cost.
The partnership also gives Grafana Cloud users another source of network measurements. NetBox Labs’ open-source Orb platform now supplies network-flow and packet telemetry—data about traffic moving through the network—to Grafana Cloud.
Whether teams are building enterprise networks and infrastructure in retail, healthcare, financial services, or deploying an AI datacenter at massive speed and scale, configuration, observability and automation all depend on having an authoritative record of what infrastructure should exist and how it should be operating. That record is NetBox.

Agents get access to the same record
Alongside the partner integrations, NetBox Labs made its fully managed NetBox Platform MCP Server generally available. The service lets teams connect their own agents to infrastructure context without hosting the server themselves. According to the company, those agents can query and change infrastructure across the platform using plain language.
NetBox Agents also gained pre-built agents, now in public preview. Their assigned jobs cover change-request review, lifecycle and version compliance, data-quality management and data import. The additions span both reviewing proposed work and maintaining the records on which infrastructure automation depends.
Design previews now, wider availability next
The design side of the release starts earlier in a network’s life. NetBox Designs entered public preview with reusable templates: teams can define a site, rack or IP-address plan once, then reuse it for larger deployments. NetBox Asset Lifecycle carries planned objects through a bill of materials, purchase order, shipment and installation.
The rest of the rollout is staged rather than immediately available across the board. NetBox Labs set the following schedule for dashboards, visualization and connections to other infrastructure tools:
- This week: NetBox Analytics adds ready-made dashboards to help teams understand their infrastructure environments.
- October 2026: Arista CloudVision, AWS VPC IPAM and Cisco Nexus Dashboard integrations become generally available.
- Later in October: integrations with Palo Alto Panorama, Tenable and Kubernetes are scheduled to enter public preview.
- November 2026: NetBox Analytics and NetBox Visual Explorer are planned for general availability. Visual Explorer lets teams view and navigate large datacenter and network footprints.
