Anjali Sardana, founder of household-services startup Pronto, has launched Provision Labs in San Francisco to support AI systems that interact with objects and perform physical tasks. Moneycontrol reported the launch on October 26, 2026. According to the new company’s website, its work will span the data, evaluation and deployment infrastructure behind those systems, rather than household services themselves.
Physical AI describes systems designed to perceive and interact with their surroundings, rather than operate only in digital environments. Training them requires real-world data showing how tasks are performed. That data is intended to teach models the actions involved in a task; evaluation methods then test their ability to carry it out reliably.
Provision Labs’ stated remit covers both of those functions, along with deployment. Its focus is the supporting infrastructure for developers working on systems that can operate in real-world environments. This is the company’s intended role, not a claim that it has demonstrated reliable physical-task performance.
Provision Labs’ LinkedIn profile lists Sardana as founder and chief executive officer. She continues to hold those roles at Pronto, which connects households with service professionals for cleaning, laundry and meal preparation. The launch adds an AI-infrastructure business to her responsibilities without replacing her leadership of the household-services company.
The new venture also has a publicly identified group of backers. Its website lists Lachy Groom, General Catalyst, Bain Capital Ventures and Glade Brook Capital among them, according to Moneycontrol. Those names accompany the launch, with no funding amount attached.
