Protectt.ai has acquired a majority stake in AIShield, bringing a Bosch-incubated AI security platform under the mobile application security company. The deal pairs tools for protecting AI systems with customer relationships in banking and other regulated industries. AIShield will operate as a separate entity under Protectt.ai.
Protection before and after AI deployment
AIShield provides security tools across the development and operation of AI systems. Its portfolio includes security assessments, red teaming—testing through simulated attacks—runtime protection for running systems, and safety guardrails. The platform targets AI-specific risks, including prompt injection and vulnerabilities in AI applications.
AIShield also brings an existing international customer base and intellectual property portfolio. It serves customers in Europe and the Middle East and has more than 40 patent filings, including 11 granted patent families.
Control changes, but AIShield stays separate
The transaction has two components: a fresh issuance of shares and a purchase of shares from existing investors. The companies disclosed neither the financial terms nor AIShield’s valuation following the transaction.
The investment is intended to accelerate product development, strengthen research and development, and support international expansion. The companies identify enterprises in regulated industries as a particular focus for the partnership’s security offerings.
AI is moving from pilots into production across banking and regulated enterprises, and the security stack has to evolve with it

Banking relationships are the route to market
Protectt.ai plans to use its existing enterprise relationships to expand AIShield’s reach, particularly in banking, financial services and insurance. Its customers include banks, non-banking financial companies, insurers, fintech businesses and government platforms. The companies expect the partnership to extend AIShield’s reach in Asian markets.
Protectt.ai operates in India, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. According to the company, its security platform protects more than 900 million devices and secures over 10 billion sessions each month. Those figures describe Protectt.ai’s platform, not AIShield’s adoption or the effectiveness of its AI defenses.
The companies aim to build a broader platform covering security applications powered by AI, protection for AI systems, and sovereign AI security. That last area is intended to give organizations greater control over the location, governance and protection of their AI systems, data and workloads. These are development plans tied to the acquisition, not an announcement that a new combined security product is available.
