The developer-conference update connects easier game creation to new paths for publishing, testing, and collecting creator earnings, though several distribution features are still planned.

Roblox is turning its AI creation push into a broader creator stack: Build will gain desktop access, asset libraries, iterative controls, and later scene generation, while NPCs will eventually automate playtesting. The company also plans browser links by year-end and standalone games for mobile, PC, and consoles, potentially reducing dependence on Roblox’s app. A new Wallet will support same-business-day real-money payouts and bank transfers, initially for U.S. creators 18+ through Airwallex.
Build is expanding from New Zealand to Serbia and Singapore, with desktop access and an asset library added now.
Prompt-based scene generation is planned for Build later this year and for Roblox Studio afterward.
NPC-based automated playtesting is also planned later this year, but availability and capabilities remain unspecified.
Roblox is giving creators a broader set of ways to make games and laying out routes for those games to reach players outside its app. The developer-conference package expands its AI creation tool, Build, while adding planned browser access, standalone distribution, automated playtesting, and a creator wallet with end-of-business-day real-money payments.
Build uses natural-language prompts to create games. Roblox is extending its availability from New Zealand to Serbia and Singapore, and is adding desktop access, an asset library, and iterative controls. Later this year, Roblox plans to add prompt-based scene generation to Build and bring that capability to Roblox Studio.
The distribution changes would give a Roblox-made game more than one front door. The company said creators will soon be able to offer games as separate apps on mobile, PC, and consoles while using Roblox as the game engine. It also said players will be able to open a game in a browser through a link by year-end.
Roblox is also adding NPC capabilities, including NPCs that can playtest games later this year. The planned tool places automated testing alongside Build’s creation controls and the company’s proposed new distribution routes.
The wallet component is aimed at creators who earn through Roblox. It introduces a real-money payment and bank-transfer option, initially through Airwallex for U.S. users aged 18 and older; Roblox says it plans to expand the service globally.
The package makes Roblox’s creator pitch more continuous: make a game with Build, refine it with new controls, test it with NPCs, distribute it more widely, and receive earnings through a wallet. But browser access, scene generation, NPC playtesting, and standalone-app distribution are not all available now.
