The transfer is the news, not a deployment result

The award recognizes the process of moving a federally developed technology toward real-world use. According to Lincoln Laboratory, the project went from a Combat Casualty Care Research Program proposal to a working proof of concept and startup company within three years. Clinical testing at Massachusetts General Hospital established the prototype’s viability, the laboratory says.
