LSEG is broadening an established Snowflake deployment into a five-year enterprise-wide commitment, extending Snowflake’s role across its Markets, Data & Analytics, AI and Risk Intelligence operations. The commercial link runs both ways: Snowflake will also license LSEG’s World-Check risk services for onboarding and third-party screening. For customers, the intended payoff is access to financial data alongside their own records in existing cloud workflows, though the announcement provides no detail on the governance controls behind that promise.
LSEG’s Yield Book fixed-income analytics platform received Snowflake’s Cortex Ready designation, enabling financial professionals to use Cortex AI within it.
Snowflake named LSEG its 2026 EMEA Product Innovation Partner of the Year, citing LSEG’s use of the platform across its business.
The expanded agreement was announced September 30, 2026, at Snowflake World Tour London.
LSEG and Snowflake announced an expanded five-year, enterprise-wide agreement on September 30, 2026, at Snowflake World Tour London. The collaboration connects LSEG’s financial intelligence with Snowflake’s cloud and AI technology, with the stated goal of making that information available within customers’ existing platforms and applications.
For LSEG, the agreement increases its commitment to Snowflake across Markets, Data & Analytics, AI and Risk Intelligence. The work is intended to support planned growth, migration programs and customer-facing data services.
It deepens LSEG’s existing use of Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud for analytics, reporting and services delivered through Snowflake Marketplace. These are extensions of an established platform relationship, rather than a first move onto Snowflake.
This expanded collaboration advances our ‘LSEG Everywhere’ AI and data strategy, bringing our financial intelligence into customers’ chosen environments and enabling them to scale AI with trusted data and clear controls.
David Schwimmer, CEO, LSEG
The companies say joint customers can bring licensed LSEG content together with their proprietary information and other third-party data in a governed environment for analytics and AI. The announcement does not specify the controls behind that promise.
Snowflake will become a licensed customer of LSEG’s Risk Intelligence World-Check services to support its own customer onboarding and third-party risk management. Schwimmer describes Snowflake’s selection as a know-your-customer compliance solution, used to check customers as part of onboarding.
The announcement points to Yield Book as a concrete example of the relationship. LSEG’s fixed-income analytics platform, used to analyze investments such as bonds, has received Snowflake’s Cortex Ready designation, enabling financial professionals to use Cortex AI within it.
Snowflake also named LSEG its 2026 EMEA Product Innovation Partner of the Year for its use of the platform across the business.
