Salesforce has introduced Claudeforce, a plugin for Anthropic’s Claude that can draft sales emails, provide information and update records through chat. The release arrives as Salesforce said annualized revenue from its Agentforce AI products exceeded $1.5 billion, up 240% from a year earlier.
The product’s stated workflow begins in Claude. A salesperson can use the chat interface to compose an email, retrieve information or update a Salesforce record. Those are distinct actions: the plugin is designed both to generate sales material and to make a change in the customer system.

Claudeforce is a new route to Salesforce data and record changes through Claude, rather than a disclosed measure of Agentforce sales. Salesforce reported the Agentforce figure as annualized revenue, and said its year-over-year growth rate had also exceeded 200% in the preceding quarter.
Product traction and portfolio value are separate signals
The Agentforce revenue figure describes Salesforce’s AI products. The $2.6 billion gain came from strategic investments, including its Anthropic stake. Both appeared in a quarter when Salesforce reported $11.35 billion in revenue and $5.90 in adjusted earnings per share.
Salesforce raised its fiscal 2027 outlook to $46.1 billion to $46.4 billion in revenue and adjusted earnings per share of $16.67 to $16.71. Its shares rose 14% in extended trading after the results and guidance topped Wall Street expectations.
The next sales and service moves
- For the fiscal third quarter, Salesforce forecast adjusted earnings per share of $3.42 to $3.44 and revenue of $11.42 billion to $11.50 billion. LSEG expectations were $3.38 per share and $11.41 billion in revenue.
- Salesforce said it had $33.5 billion in current remaining performance obligation, a measure of revenue expected to be recognized in the next year. StreetAccount consensus was $33.22 billion.
- The company has also revealed plans to acquire customer-service startup Fin for $3.6 billion, adding a separate planned move in the adjacent service category.
